Neal Thompson is Director of the Amazon Literary Partnership, which supports authors, literary nonprofits, and the writing community. A former journalist, Neal is the author of five books, including Kickflip Boys, A Curious Man (PEN Center USA Literary Award finalist in nonfiction) and Driving with the Devil. Neal has appeared on NPR, PBS, The Daily Show, CNN, The History Channel, ESPN, and more, and he has written for Outside, Esquire, the Washington Post, Men’s Health, and Sports Illustrated. He previously taught creative nonfiction at the University of North Carolina’s Great Smokies Writing Program. He lives in Seattle.
