Ella Boureau

Awards Manager | Lambda Literary

Ella Boureau is the awards manager for Lambda Literary Foundation, as well as an NYC-based writer, translator, and events curator. Ella has long been active at the intersection of art and social justice. Through Queer|Art|Mentorship, she wrote her first play, Helps to Hate You a Little: A Lovestory, which debuted at Cloud City in fall 2016. In 2011, she founded the online magazine and reading series In the Flesh in order to be in conversation with the queer voices she wasn’t seeing or hearing. In addition to her role as awards coordinator at Lambda Literary Foundation, she is developing new ways for Lambda to support queer playwrights.
